"Stop and consider God's wonders." Job 37:14
That is the verse for today's post. Do you ever notice how everyone these days encourages you to "go green"? And it's not bad to "go green". It's very good. But does it really matter if you leave just one water bottle on the grass? Or just one food package on the playground? Well, all the other litterers probably thought the same thing. The verse Stop and consider God's wonders to me it means, before you litter or do something bad for the environment, stop and think of what's going to happen. Is your world going to benefit from a banana peel on the ground? Probably not. My park has a 2 garbage bins: one for garbage and one for recycling. The Bible also says that we need to be good stewards of what God gave us, and He gave the world to us. "Then God said, "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air and all the creatures that move on the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food." And it was so." (Genesis 1:29-30)
All the snow had melted over here when just yesterday there was a massive blizzard that brought is about a foot of snow. =( But the weather forecast is calling for rain on Saturday and sunny skies for the rest of the week, so let's hope it goes away. NO MORE SNOW!!! =)
Oh, and recycling is fun. A bunch of coffee cans and old soup cans can become a band for you little brothers and sisters!
Have a good weekend everybody! Love, Abbie =D x0x0x
